Cookie policy
Last updated 29 May 2026
This page explains what cookies crudolabs.com uses and why. Crudo Labs uses Google Analytics, and only Google Analytics, to understand how people use crudolabs.com. No other tracking tools, ad networks, or third-party analytics vendors run on the site.
What a cookie actually is
Cookies are small text files that your browser stores when you visit a website. They can remember preferences, keep you signed in across pages, and let site owners see anonymized usage — for example, which pages get visited and on what kind of device. Cookies are not programs and cannot read files off your computer.
The cookies on this site
Every cookie set on crudolabs.com belongs to Google Analytics. No other cookies are used. The list below is the full set.

What we do, and what we don't
Crudo Labs looks at aggregate trends in Google Analytics — top pages, referring sites, and the broad mix of devices and regions visiting crudolabs.com. That helps us understand which parts of the platform story land and where the site needs work.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade analytics data.
- We do not run advertising, retargeting, or remarketing on crudolabs.com.
- We do not share Google Analytics data with other vendors or third parties.
IP addresses
Google Analytics 4 does not log full IP addresses. IPs are used briefly for approximate geolocation (country / region) and are then discarded — the legacy Universal Analytics anonymize_ip flag does not exist on GA4 because IP non-storage is the default.
How to opt out
You can stop Google Analytics from collecting your visits to crudolabs.com in three ways. Any one of them is enough.
- A
Google's opt-out browser add-on
Install Google's official Analytics opt-out add-on for your browser. Once installed, GA stops collecting on every site that uses it — not just ours.
tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout - B
Block third-party cookies in your browser
Every modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, Brave) lets you block third-party cookies, clear existing cookies, or browse in a private window. Any of these stop GA cookies from persisting between visits.
- C
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Do Not Track or GPC signal, GA4 honors regional consent mode where it is configured. Implementation specifics depend on Google's current consent-mode behavior for your jurisdiction.
Consent banner
On your first visit to crudolabs.com a banner asks whether you want to enable Google Analytics. Until you accept, analytics is denied via Google Consent Mode and no GA cookies are set. Your choice is remembered in your browser so you do not have to answer on every visit.
